Cookie & storage notice

Market Thread uses cookies and browser storage to keep the site working and, with your permission, remember your work on this device. This notice describes storage used by Market Thread. It is not a request for your email address.

Your choice

Optional storage is off until you choose Accept optional or turn it on under Customize. Reject optional keeps the site available. You can change your choice at any time through Cookie settings in the footer. Your choice applies to this website on this browser, including Research and Options Lab. Another device, browser, or domain needs its own choice.

We remember the choice for up to 180 days, then ask again. Clearing site data or a material change to storage purposes may prompt an earlier request. Closing settings, scrolling, and continuing to browse do not give consent.

Research without saved storage

You can import price files, calculate backtests and use Options Lab without optional storage. Work then stays in the open page's memory and is lost when you reload or leave. Export experiment files to keep a copy. Imported CSV contents and research calculations are not uploaded to Market Thread or synced to your account.

Turning optional storage off after accepting removes the listed optional device saves, including saved research. Export anything you need first. Current page work can remain in memory until you leave. Storage from an earlier version or an expired choice is not opened without permission; you can remove dormant data through your browser's Clear site data controls.

Accounts, service providers and request logs

Optional storage choices do not delete signed-in account records. Sign-in uses the email and profile details you submit, and account favorites and saved briefs are held by the account service so they can work across devices. Existing account services use Supabase; payment management, where available, uses Stripe. Those services have their own notices. Do not put sensitive information into optional feed addresses or imported files.

Website hosting, account security and market-data requests necessarily send request information such as an IP address, requested URL and browser headers to the relevant service. This panel governs Market Thread's browser storage, not provider infrastructure logs or storage on websites you open through external links.

No analytics or advertising tracking

Market Thread has not added visitor analytics, advertising cookies, cross-site tracking, or an email collection field to this mechanism. There is no analytics category to enable. A new optional tracking purpose would require an updated notice and a new choice before activation.

Managing browser data

Cookie settings makes withdrawing optional consent as easy as giving it. You can also block or clear cookies and site data in your browser. Blocking essential sign-in cookies may prevent accounts from working. Browser privacy signals do not enable optional storage; it stays off without your affirmative choice.
